CHOOSING YOUR CAR
If you know what you are looking for straight away, or once you have had a look at a few types of cars and have decided on which make and model you want to buy then LET US KNOW. We save you the hassle of travelling round all the various motor dealers for the best deal and then realise no one has what you are looking for and you have wasted all that time and effort looking round to more than likely end up spending thousands of pounds on an alternative make, model, specification or colour of car that you don't really want.

Normally we are able to locate you the car you want so we would expect to proceed with the sale provided you are happy with all the details. In special circumstances some scarce or unusual cars may have to be purchased without physical viewing from you as we may have to locate them from somewhere in mainland UK, although extensive pictures can be provided before hand. A non-refundable order part payment of 50% will be required on all confirmed deals before we order your vehicle and arrange delivery.

VEHICLE SOURCING
Please note - we will NOT deal with the same vehicle, at the same dealer you have already been viewing, driving, enquiring or negiotiating with. This is our company policy on this matter and it is also out of professionalism and common courtesy to people in the same industry, many of whom we know, so please, always tell us as much as possible to help us and your enquiry.

When we source you a car, all we require for this unrivalled service is a £295 administration fee per car (this additional fee is not included in the vehicle purchase price and is to be completed and paid on or before delivery to complete the transaction) FOR CARS PHYSICALLY IN STOCK THIS CHARGE IS EXCLUDED.

Republic of Ireland & UK mainland (Scotland, England, Wales, Isle of Man) customers please note, due to high volume of business now in Northern Ireland we are no longer able to source cars outside N.I. due to VRT implications for ROI cars and customers and geographical limitations on viewing cars for UK mainland customers, however we are more than happy to help or sell any of our cars physically in stock to any location, many thanks for your custom over the previous years and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Please Note - If we find your enquiry/request to be unreasonable in any way, ie you are looking to pay £9,000 for a car thats normally around £12,000 or you want a 5/6 year old car with 12,000 miles, we are sorry but your enquiry will be discarded and not even be processed.

Your new or used car will be delivered direct to your work or home, anytime, anywhere in N.I. just let us know and all at no extra cost. (England, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Man and Republic of Ireland deliveries - an extra fee will be charged for delivery depending on your exact location).

ADVERTISING
Please note that all our adverts are usually correct, however, some genuine errors may occur, for more details on this see our disclaimer page.
A vehicle may be listed as having a FULL YEARS MOT or Road Tax.  When this vehicle came into stock and when it was listed for sale this information may have been correct, but if the vehicle concerned has been in stock for 2 months since it was listed it would obviously have only 10 months MOT/Tax or could have only 1 or 2 months MOT left and is advertised/sold with a Full Years MOT under the MOT guarantee listed seperately below and this will be indicated at the point of sale. 
Also a vehicles mileage (always enter approximately but usually within 1,000/2,000 miles), price or specification may have been entered incorrectly, this maybe/would be explained at the viewing and/or test drive and then it would be both our and your decision at this point wether to proceed with the sale or not.  In NO means would we intentionally false advertise or mislead, we are a reputable company and will always try our best to be honest and truthful and we would appreciate the same in return from our customers ie if a vehicle was entered as £999 instead of £9,999 that vehicle would NOT have to be sold at that incorrect price as a genuine error would have occured, likewise with mileage and specification errors ie if a car was listing as having alloys or C/D etc but did not have them, then sorry but we would NOT have to fit them free, as again a genuine error would have occured.
Cars maybe advertised with "GTCYW" number plates, these are display plates only and those number plates are not included with that car or that sale and are for display purposes only.
Please note that our EURO price is an approximate figure only (as it's unrealistic to try to be updated daily) and this will most definately change according to the exchange rate on the day of purchase, so please confirm the exact Euro price yourself, from our correct sterling prices at all times before deciding to make your purchase, again this is not false advertising its just an rough guide for ROI money conversion and excludes any VRT which is to be added (link available) which is your the buyers responsibility to pay VRT not GTCYW.
Listing on our site is free but additional advertising charges will be applicable if used (ie autotrader) and will be deducted from balance due.
Prices which are reduced in Red writing are cash sale or straight sale (no trade in) discounted prices your car considered for cash exchange!

£99 PER MONTH CARS
£99 per month cars are a rough indicator only and are based on a maximum vehicle price of £6,000 with a minimum deposit of £1,500 and are approximate, excluding pence and setup fees front and back, also are are subject to change accordingly with interest rate variations as well as clients credit rating and are subject to status.

PART EXCHANGES
All valuation/offers made on customers part exchange cars will stand for 48 hours (subject to HPI check) and the offered price is only valid in relation to that particular vehicle which was being considered to be purchased at that time, for alternative vehicles, or later dates, part exchange prices will vary.

PAYMENT METHODS & RESERVING OR PURCHASING A CAR
For all confirmed deals for vehicles to be reserved as SOLD and temporarily taken "off sale", we require a Part Payment of £200 minimum for collection of SOLD vehicle within 7 days or alternatively for collection of SOLD vehicle over 7 days from sale date a Part Payment of £1,000 minimum or for vehicles over 28 days a 50% part payment will be required with balances due, to be paid on or before delivery as per below terms.
After that duration of reservation, the car will be reactivated for sale and your part-payment will be lost!
Please note that Part Payments are NON refundable
(except when we cannot provide finance when requested and it has taken no longer than 3 days)
Also any part payment may be kept to cover additional costs you have requested at an additional cost to us
ie Bluetooth, Handsfree, Alloy wheel re-furb, tinted windows etc
Please note that a cash buyer will always take priority over a "finance pending application" client and will have first refusal at a vehicle, irrelevant of Part-Payment paid by the finance client due to the vast difficulty in currently getting finance and the number of finance declines in the current economic climate !

Payment Methods - In-House Finance (to be signed, completed and paid before delivery), Cash, Bankers Draft, Personal Cheque (Drafts/Cheques to be made payable to "Get The Car You Want") with clearing time (3-5 days except Draft), Debit cards (no charge), Visa/Mastercard etc (+ 2.5% handling charge on all transactions over £200).

Goods remain the property of GTCYW until all monies are paid/cleared but liability, including insurance remains with the client from delivery time for any fines, accidents or penalties that may occur.

MOT GUARANTEE
For some selected cars with less than 1 or 2 months MOT we may pre-MOT or pre-prepare them for clients and may offer a guarantee service that if the car fails on certain items we may supply the parts for you to get the vehicle MOT passed.  Please note that wear and tear items are not covered ie Tyres, Track Rod Ends, CV Boots, Brake Pads, Wipers, Head Lamp Alignment, Bulbs and Under Body wash etc. 
This is a totally separate guarantee from warranty and is only valid on items required to pass MOT and no other additonal items.  This is only applicable to cars under 7 year's old and the MOT guarantee parts claim limit is £100, labour charges are excluded from the MOT guarantee, as are 4x4's and cars over 100,000 miles or of £2,500 in value or less.
MOT guarantee carries a 1 month or 1,000 mile limit, whichever comes first, similar to warranty.
Valid only to N.I. customers.

WARRANTY
Please note warranty terms will be strictly adhered to including claim limits !

Most of our vehicles are independently checked and usually serviced if required, then valeted before being
put up for sale (subject to age and mileage) hence there are usually no faults with our vehicles prior to delivery.

However, sometimes a problem may arise with a vehicle, in this case, if you are in warranty, please be reasonable and
understanding and we will endevour to sort the matter as quickly as possible and help you as best and as fairly as we can if you are within warranty terms and coverage.

Simplified our warranty covers most Major Mechanical Parts and excludes wear and tear items. 
(see other info page for more details)

Vehicles over £20,000 have a 1 year or 12,000 mile warranty (whichever comes first)
Claim limit = maximum of 2 claims (separate items) x maximum claim limit value of £750

Vehicles over £10,000 have a 6 month or 6,000 mile warranty (whichever comes first)
Claim limit = maximum of 2 claims (separate items) x maximum claim limit value value of £500

Vehicles over £5,000 have a 3 month or 3,000 mile warranty (whichever comes first)
Claim limit = maximum of 2 claims (seperate items) x maximum claim limit value of £300

Vehicles under £5,000 the warranty, if any, will depend on the age and mileage !
Claim limit = maximum of 1 claim x maximum claim limit value of £300

Vehicles over 10 year old or over 100,000 miles or under £2,500 in value will have NO Warranty !

Trade or Disposal vehicle sale's & Taxis' will have NO Warranty ! 

Straight exchanges/swaps or sales involving returned monies or little (less £1,000) or no money will have NO Warranty !

Warranty claim limit £300 ie Maximum amount paid is £300 for parts and labour and any additional cost over and above is to be covered by you the customer.
Warranty or No warranty aplicable is directly linked to the actual price you pay for the vehicle, not the advertised price !

GET THE CAR YOU WANT DOES ITSELF NOT WARRANT SOME CARS - ANY CLAIMS ARE DIRECT WITH AXA/LUMLEY AND ARE SUBJECT TO WARRANTY COVERAGE AS PER THEIR INFORMATION BOOKLET AND THEIR COVERAGE TERMS !

Below is an example (but not comprehensive or definative) reference guide of examples of items NOT covered.
EXCLUDED : Battery, Flat/low Battery or drainage of Battery, Dents, Scratches, Scuffs, Squeaks, Rattles, Rust, Interior trim panel/seat, splits, holes, cracks, tears & burns, Clutches, CV boots, Track Rod Ends, Steering Arms, Head Gaskets, Engine Mounts, Alloy Wheel scuffs, scratches, crack/splits, Locking Wheel Nuts, Wheel Alignment, Tyre wear, Airbag Lights or Activation/De-activation inc switches, Handbrake cables & mechanisms, Faults/Items previously repaired under warranty (by us or anyone else), Locking Wheel Studs/Nuts/Keys, Brake Servos, Pipes, Calipers & Pads, Headlamp/Tail-Lamp Water misting or retention, Manufacturer Common Faults ie window regulators, MG/Rover Head Gaskets, handbrake mechanisms, water leaks, EGR Valves, Alternators etc, Punctures/Flat Tyres, Diagnostic time/fault finding, DPF's (Diesel Particulate Filters), Windscreen cracks/chips/leaks, Keys or Remote Keys/Pads & Batterys, Main/Spare Keys & Immobilizers & Locks including reprogramming etc or if lost or due to damage, theft or misplacement, Water/Fuel Pumps, Alarms & Sensitivity settings, Audio Equipment, Exhausts/Catalytic converters, Batterys, Air/Con Pumps/Exhausts/Fans/Re-gasing and any after market fitted accessories (ie NOT Factory fitted). Timing Belts/Chains for vehicles which require one are due at the relevant manufacturer's recommended age/miles and if a car needs a timing belt fitted but our repair centre does NOT fit Timing Belts/Chains  and hence we do NOT cover them or any other damage caused to the engine/car by the breaking of a timing Belts/Chains .  So it is advised that all customers get timing Belts/Chains  independantly checked and replaced if necessary at their own cost as prevention is better than cure.
Wrongly diagnosed faults, parts, repairs or labour (ie the part or repair did not fix the problem) will NOT be covered irrelevant of who diagnosis/repair was by.

Maximum claims under any policy is 1 and any fault/part is only covered once under a warranty claim and a replaced part (2nd hand) has a 30 day guarantee from that parts supplier NOT Get The Car You Want whilst a new part has usually a 12 month manufacturers guarantee. Please note that the labour charge is only covered once by warranty under replacement for the same part ie if same part replaced again the customer or part supplier must cover the relevant labour costs.
Warranty is TOTALLY VOID if the fuel sample (Petrol/Diesel) is sub-standard, contaminated or illegal.
This also applies to running your vehicle on the recommended fuel ie high performance vehicles such as Evo's, Subarus, R32's, TT's RX8's etc are designed to run on "Super" unleaded so running on normal unleaded will lead to a "Lean Fuel" problem and will reduce power ie compression and possibly put the vehicle engine management light on and may cause the vehicle to misfire and/or also damage the engine and or parts ie Pistons, Head, Turbos etc !
Any Tuning, Re-Mapping etc to vehicles will also invalidate any and all warranty !
UK only, ROI excluded.  Items under £20 are Excluded from warranty claims!

Please Note : Maximum warranty labour charge payout is £20 an hour (Inc. VAT), this is generally around the normal and around the cost for most repituble and reasonable sized places EXCEPT main dealer franchises so DO NOT take to main franchised dealers as the full cost of a more expensive hourly labour rate will NOT be covered.

Warranty does NOT cover any Tow-In/Recovery charges, car hire/rental, Taxi/Train/Bus/Flight fees, Hotel, B&B etc Accommodation fees, Additional fuel costs to and/or from repair centres, Loss of Earnings, Parking fees, Congestion charges, Road Tolls, Parking fines, Common Manufacturer Faults ie ECU's etc, After Fit items ie non Factory Fitted or any MOT requirements.

ALL TAXI's are EXCLUDED from any and all warranty programme's, vehicle Clutches are excluded under warranty and are not covered under any circumstances and also any Warranty claims will be invalid/void if due to Misuse/Abuse or the vehicle is over the mileage allowance or outside the duration of cover !

Get The Car You Want is very sorry for any inconvenience caused during any warranty claim/issue and we will always endevor to be fair and do our best to help you, our customer on all ocassions, but we would like to inform you that there is NO compensation available for inconvenience caused or compensation/remmitance for things/items excluded under warranty.  Used cars are used and sometimes have problems, we dont make the vehicle the manufacturers do, but we do usually service and prepare them (if required) before sale and we will try and fix them if some problems arise within warranty terms and conditions. In the unlikely event of a void sale we do NOT refund any costs you may have paid/or we may have spent on the vehicle, for example VRT, Servicing, Towbars, Accessories etc. and we will charge back any costs we have spent on the vehicle ie acessories, servicing, valets, towbars, VRT etc.  We will charge a time and admin re-stocking return fee of 10% on any vehicle. There is a maximum 1 month/1,000 mile limit to complete the void sale regulation irrelevant of any and all circumstances.  Valid only to N.I. customers.  Your warranty invoice is pre-approved, processed and is processed from the info on this website, so no signatures are required by either party and sale/warranty (if applicable) commences from the date of agreed sale when part or full payment is taken. 

If we find any evidence of tampering, false claims, additional items or over pricing items or labour etc in any way 
We reserve the right to and WILL TOTALLY VOID ANY & ALL WARRANTY !

For our internal warranties you might be required to pay for repairs and we will refund you accordingly with your receipt.
This will be done at every month end or within 10 working days from receipt of your payment and work.

SELLING A CLIENTS CAR
Get The Car You Want take NO responsibility via insurance or liability for ANY car left with them to sell on someone else's behalf, the car must remain insured by the owner at all times in case of accident, fire, theft or damage.  Also these sales are classed as private sales not dealer sales and are from the vehicle owner direct NOT Get The Car You Want and we are just an advertiser for them in this case and we take absolutely NO responsibility at all for the sale, condition, repair or warranty of any of the vehicles!  If a vehicle sale completed by ourselves on your behalf requires a full refund due to serious/major defects, or for not being fit for the purpose which it purchased for, then the client whom we are selling the car for, will be responsible for the full refund, without time limit and any addditional costs incurred and by permitting GTCYW to sell their vehicle, they the owner, are automatically accepting to all these terms and conditions!  Indicated by a # at the end of the listing.
Any vehicles sold by us, on your behalf, may have a full/part payment delay to you to allow accordingly for this and the agreed purchase price to you will NOT be transfered to you until a current valid tax book is in our possession to give to the new owner.

IMPORTS
Although we sell mostly UK cars some may have been inported into the UK from various placed ie ROI, Holland, Germany etc most of these are still classed as UK specification.  Some of these due to exact same or similar specification may not be known to us hence cannot be declared at the point of sale so if you are happy with the vehicle at point of sale this will not affect any warranty or right to return the vehicle!
We generally do NOT sell GREY imports or Japanese style imports due to insurance implications ! 

TUNING/PERFORMANCE/STYLING ENCHANCEMENTS or REPLACED PARTS
Some vehicles may have been independantly tuned before coming to us ie a TDI Golf 105bhp is now 140bhp
We may not know this hence cant tell you this as there is no signs to indicate this (except performance)
So we do not verify or confirm any horsepower or performance for insurance purposes or exclusions
Any vehicle tuning done by a customer after the sale will immediately invalidate any and all warranty given
Again some vehicles may have additional items put on by a previous customer ie spoilers, bodykits, bigger wheels etc
Its is your responsiblity to correctly inform your insurance company of your exact vehicles items !
Also some vehicles may have had replacement parts like Engines, Turbos, Gearboxes etc etc this is common and is not always known, but this does not affect the sale of any vehicle, its warranty from us or its part supplier and/or your statutory rights.

PREVIOUS USAGE/OWNERS
Some vehicles may have been used by companies for 1 individual driver and/or as  a spare or pool car and/or used for commercial use or for public hire/reward or rental hence maybe higher mileage
Some of these ie Usage or Owners may not be known to us hence we cannot inform you of it.
this previous use does not affect your purchase from us or your warranty if any.

INSURANCE & LEGAL ie ACCIDENTS, FINES etc
Get The Car You Want ONLY covers insurance for your test drive when we are present
Any other time the cars insurance is soley the clients responsibility
Clients are fully responsible for any fines that occur or may occur as well as any legal or insurance issues including claims!

MILEAGE
Although we take all the necessary precautions like HPI, all mileages are to be discarded and considered as not accurate unless verified by VMC or NMR.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
Unless otherwise stated, the copyright and all other intellectual property rights in all material on the Site (including, without limitation, all content, text, graphics, logos, names, artwork, photographs and videos) are owned by us. All rights reserved. All copying is forbidden other than in accordance with these limited permissions. You are permitted to view the contents of the Site on screen. You are also permitted to print one copy of reasonable extracts from the Site for your personal use or private study and to save one copy of such reasonable extracts to your local hard disk for your personal use or private study. All other copying or distribution of any of the contents of the Site is strictly forbidden. ABUSIVE BEHAVIOUR
Get The Car You Want take very seriously any form of abuse directed towards our staff. Our policy towards any physical/verbal abuse or disruptive/threatening behaviour against any of our staff is to call the Police authorities and take legal action including prosecution and the civil recovery of damages and costs. In addition we will issue banning/restraining orders against the perpetrators of such actions with no exceptions. We reserve the right to refuse to deal with or speak to any unreasonable existing or potential customers.

We do NOT deal with any Written Off or Insurance Total Loss Cars (ie Category C/D)  and a HPI report can be seen for any/all of our cars.

For all test drives, a current and valid driving license is required for insurance purposes.

Finally please respect our business with regard to sourcing cars, as our time, like yours is valuable, we are not a search engine, we deal with genuine buyers who know what car they want and are going to buy it, if we can get it and it meets their requirments.
